PIONEERING VISION
During the completion of my Masters Degree, I was introduced to the pioneering and innovative work of Dr. Harvey Kwiyani whose vision for The Centre for Global Witness and Human Migration became a reality in September 2024 in partnership with Church Mission Society and Missio Africanus.
This hub is dedicated to driving vibrant discussions about human migration and its significant influence on Christian faith, the church and mission.
This unique centre cultivates a dynamic environment where varing viewpoints come together to unravel the intricate relationship between faith and the experiences of migrants.
In September 2024 I presented from a theologians perspective to an audience of church leaders, innovative pioneers, visionaries and thought leaders.
The presentation spotlighted the incredible contributions of Caribbean communities in the United Kingdom, celebrating their rich cultural heritage and the profound impact they have made on the social and spiritual landscape of British society.

2025 brings an intentional shift to try and write for/(to?) the “church” . The chasms we see in the ways we talk about this thing called ‘mission’ and raising awareness about this will help move the conversation forward as we curate the theological foundations and role of the church in the future.
The centre will curate bespoke resources for leaders of mission agencies, the church, charities, community volunteers and those called to lead in this sphere of influence.
We look forward to what partnership and collaboration will bring for 'the church' in the years to come.
